Accountability judge Muhammad Bashir seeks leave until retirement

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Accountability Judge Muhammad Bashir on Saturday sought a leave until his retirement, citing medical reasons.

In the letters sent to the Islamabad High Court and the Law and Justice Ministry, Judge Muhammad Bashir said that he could not perform the duty to his poor health.

He said that he should be given leave from January 24 to March 14 – the date of his retirement.

Currently he is hearing several important cases, including the £190 million scam and Toshakhana.
