Aishwarya Rai wins best actress award for South Indian film ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’

LAHORE (92 News) - Famous Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan won the best actress award in the South Indian film industry.

According to Indian media reports, actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan attended the South Indian International Movie Awards 2024 in Dubai the other night along with her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan and clicked selfies with fans.

At the event, the actress was awarded the Best Actress (Critics) Award for the film "Ponniyin Selvan 2".

It is to be noted here that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan played two roles in the film, which is based on the famous five-part novel series by Kalki Krishnamurthy and directed by Mani Ratnam.

The other cast of the film includes Trisha Krishnan, Vikram, Karthi, and Jayaram among others.
