All appointments are made on merit in Pak Army, says Khawaja Asif

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said that all appointments are made on merit in the Pak Army.

Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, he questioned that Imran Khan should tell when the appointment was not made on merit.

"Imran Khan gives statements under a plan and then gives irrational explanation. Your friends are also denying your word. You should tell whether it is merit to sell the gifts of Toshakhana. Were Usman Buzdar and Mahmood Khan given the chief minister-ship on merit? " he questioned.

Khawaja Asif said that Imran Khan will have to answer to his corruption.

Finance Minister Miftah Ismail raised an objection to the use the Shaukat Khanum Hospital funds for the party and appointment of Farah Gogi as trustee.

He invited Imran Khan to visit the Press Information Department to answer to the questions raised by him.
