ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PTI chairman Barrister Gohar Ali has said that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) order regarding reserved seats of the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) was unconstitutional.

Reacting to the verdict of the Supreme Court on Monday, he said that they had been saying since day one that they had been meted out unconstitutional treatment. "The recent court judgment endorses our stance," he added.

The PTI chairman said that their 78 seats had been given to other parties. "The government has lost a two-thirds majority after the court verdict," he added.

He said that any party cannot be given reserved seats more than the won seats. "The ECP has given these seats to other parties."
