Capt (retd) Safdar acquitted in rebellion, provocative speeches cases

GUJRANWALA (92 News) - Magistrate Faisalul Islam on Wednesday acquitted Capt (retd) Safdar in a case of provocative speeches and rebellion.

The court that the accused has been acquitted as the prosecution could not prove the allegations against him.

Talking to the media, Capt (retd) Safdar said that it was political case which had reached its logical end. "The objective of the case was to pressurize PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif," he added.
