KARACHI (92 News) – Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) general secretary Ahsan Iqbal on Sunday said that the country was destroyed after Panama virus conspiracy. Speaking to the journalists after a visit on Quid’s mausoleum along with other party, Ahsan Iqbal said that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Javed Iqbal alleged on former prime minister Nawaz Sharif for transferring four billion rupees to India. “If the inquiry of the NAB chairman is not completed till now against Nawaz Sharif, then Javed Iqbal has to apologize for fake accusations against the former premier,” he demanded. “Prime Minister Imran Khan himself pronounced that International Monetary Fund (IMF) demanded to appoint Reza Baqir as the governor of State Bank of Pakistan,” the PML-N leader said. He also explained that Chaudhry Nisar has no link with the PML-N. Ahsan Iqbal mentioned that prior to this country was progressing. He said that the PML-N contributed his all efforts to progress for the country, the billions of dollar taken to the country on behalf of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). “We took the country’s rate of economy 5.8 per cent and the stock market made for attractive across the Asia,” he said. The PML-N leader expressed that country is on the brink of a disaster because some unskilled persons are running the government. He said Nawaz Sharif was in jail just because of his politics of struggle. He said PM imran Khan burdened public under heavy inflation after getting an IMF package. Ahsan Iqbal said if government tried to breach the constitution or made parliament non effective then joint opposition would stage a protest. He questioned whether this Pakistan is better or Pakistan a year ago. He said country was destroyed after Panama virus conspiracy. Earlier today, Ahsan Iqbal arrived at Quid’s mausoleum along with other party leaders to offer fatiha.
Govt become threat to security along with economy: Ahsan Iqbal
A day earlier, PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal said that the government had become a threat to security as well as economy. In a message on Saturday, he said that Prime Minister Imran Khan and his ministers only one thing – call names of the opposition.
“It is being feared that the country could be made salve if the government continued the journey of destruction for five years,” he said. The PML-N leader said that there is no constitutional way to get Pakistan rid of this hell.
