Court discharges murder case against journalist Ayaz Amir

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Senior Civil Judge Amir Uzair discharged the murder case against journalist Ayaz Amir, whose son Shahnawaz murdered his wife, and ordered his immediate release.

The court remarked that there was no proof against Ayaz Amir.

During the hearing, the counsel for Ayaz Amir contended that his client was in Chakwal at the time of the occurrence of the incident.

Later, the Shahzad Town police released Ayaz Amir who was arrested under the section 109 for abetting the crime.
