Dollar continues to soar, reaches all-time high of Rs239.94 after gaining Rs3.92

KARACHI (92 News) - Dollar continued to soar and reached the all-time high rate of Rs239.94 after further gaining Rs3.92 against the rupee in the interbank market on Thursday.

In the open market, the dollar rate touched Rs243. During the tenure of this government, dollar has risen by Rs58.

On the other hand, 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange witnessed an increase of 581 points and reached 40,553 points. During the trading, the market recorded an increase of 1.45 percent.
