Dollar loses Rs11.50 in open market, reaches at Rs299.50

KARACHI (92 News) - The US dollar suffered a major setback when it lost Rs11.50 against rupee in the open market on Thursday, reaching at Rs299.50.

On the other hand, dollar lost 37 paisa in the inter-bank market and was sold at Rs285.10.

Reacting to the heft decrease in the dollar price, Forex Dealers Association Malik Bostan said that it is first time in the history that dollar had lost Rs27 in a day. "We are thankful to Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and SBP Governor Tariq Bajwa," he added.
