ECP cancels notification postponing elections in NA-83, NA-85

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday cancelled the notification that postponing the elections in NA-83 and NA-85.

Announcing the verdict, the ECP ruled that the elections in both constituencies will be held as scheduled.

During the hearing, Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja admonished the Union Council secretary. He ordered the Sargodha deputy commissioner to take action against the UC secretary for making a wrong statement.

Meanwhile, PML-N candidate Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha welcomed the decision and asked the people to prepare for the elections.
