ECP categorically rejects allegations of rigging in General Elections 2024

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday categorically rejected the allegations of rigging in the General Elections 202.

In a statement, the ECP  spokesman said that occasional incidents of rigging cannot be ruled out. "The ECP ensured the peaceful conduct of the polling despite security challenges. In some areas, the election results were delayed, but no party benefitted or suffered a loss there," he declared.

He said that it was their top priority to keep the election process peaceful and organized. "It was inappropriate to put the human lives at stake or make correction of results for the sake of speedy election results," he maintained.
