ECP dismisses Sunni Ittehad Council's plea for reserved seats

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday ruled that the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) did not deserve the reserved seats.

Announcing the reserved verdict by 4-1 on the issue, it dismissed the SIC's plea for the reserved seats.

According to the ECP, the reserved seats cannot be kept empty. It stated that the reserved seats would be given to other parties.

Meanwhile, the Sunni Ittehad Council has announced to challenge the ECP verdict.
