All eight BLA terrorists killed in foiled attack on Gwadar Port Authority Complex

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – A group of eight terrorists attempted to enter Port Authority Colony in Gwadar, which was successfully thwarted by the security forces personnel on Wednesday.

According to a press release issued by the ISPR, the Pak Army troops employed for security responded immediately and effectively engaged the terrorists belonging to the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA). In ensuing fire exchange, all eight terrorists were sent to hell.

A large quantity of arms, ammunition and explosives was also recovered from the killed terrorists.

However, during the intense exchange of fire, two brave soldiers – Sepoy Bahar Khan (age: 35 years, resident of District DG Khan) and Sepoy Imran Ali (age: 28 years, resident of District Khairpur) having fought gallantly, sacrificed their lives and embraced martyrdom.

"The security forces of Pakistan, in step with the Nation remain determined to thwarting attempts of sabotaging peace and stability of Balochistan, and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve," the ISPR added.

President Asif Zardari strongly condemned the terrorist attack on GPA Complex. He lauded the courage and timely action taken by the security forces to foil the attack. He said that terrorists would be dealt with an iron hand.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has strongly condemned the terrorists attack in Gawadar. CM paid tributes to the security forces for valiantly countering the attack of terrorists.
