March 24, 2019
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry satirically said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Syed Khursheed Shah and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman were truly concerned about economic situation of the country. Addressing a press conference, Fawad Chaudhry said that Fazl and Khursheed Shah now feared as if it was their turn to be held accountable now. “When we ask about fake bank accounts with billions of rupees, they talk about banned outfits,” he said adding that Khursheed Shah himself had been meeting big terrorists. The minister said there was no conflict on the National Action Plan (NAP), all parties were united on it. “Purpose of the NAP is to implement writ of the state,” he said. Criticizing a dig at Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, he advised the PPP Chairman to organize a train march against India for mistreatment of minorities. On PPP’s protest, Fawad said the constitution gave everybody right for protest, but it should be peaceful and non-violent. Fawad Chaudhry said he was in contact with Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif on the issue of appointments of the Election Commission of Pakistan members. “Hopefully, we would reach a consensus, otherwise the committee would decide it,” he added. He said dual nationality holders were not eligible for contesting elections.
Its Pakistan’s internal issue, Fawad responds Indian minister

The information minister on Sunday took his twitter and replied the remarks of Indian external minister. Slamming the tweet of Sushma Swaraj, he said that it is not Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s India where the minorities are being subjugated. He clarified that minorities, here in Pakistan, equal rights like other nationals belong to different religions. He advised to Swaraj and the Indian government to better focus on countering miseries and trouble of minorities by providing their rights in India. “Mam its Pakistin internal issue and rest assure its not Modi’s India where minorities are subjugated its Imran Khan’s Naya Pak where white color of our flag is equally dearer to us. I hope you ll act with same diligence when it comes to rights of Indian Minorities,” the minister tweeted.
