Federal cabinet approves deployment of army in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The federal government approved the deployment of the Pak Army in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The decision was made during a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday. The meeting was briefed about PTI's sabotage and attacks on the state properties.

The federal cabinet declared the PTI protest as anarchy, violence and terrorism. Terming the violent activities tantamount to anti-state, the forum condemned the attacks on the national and state institutions.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that no one will be allowed to take the law into his hands. "We will bring the attackers to justice," he added.

To apprise the nation about the situation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has decided to address the nation tonight or tomorrow.
