Four injured as clashes reported during polling in different districts

LAHORE (92 News) - Scuffles broke out among workers of political parties in different districts on Thursday.

In Jhang, unknown people fled with ballot boxes from polling stations. After the incident, the polling process was stopped in the area.

In NA-115 Sheikhupura, polling agents exchanged hot words with the presiding officer. Mismanagement was also reported at polling stations in Faisalabad, Gujranwala and Kamoke.

In Lahore's PP-173, workers of two parties quarrelled with each other. However, the police controlled the situation. In Talagang, four people were injured during firing near a polling station. Gunfight was also reported during scuffles between workers of different political parties.

In Hyderabad, workers of two political parties had a clash near the polling station.
