Furrukh Habib quits PTI, joins Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party

LAHORE (92 News) - PTI leader Furrukh Habib on Monday announced to leave the party and join the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party.

Addressing a press conference at IPP office, he condemned the May incidents and said that the PTI chairman had opted this path after his ouster.

"He made the people's mind to resist by taking to streets on April 9. It was opined that the institutions do not let politics run in the country," he added.

Furrukh Habib said that the PTI chairman continued to incite the people to violence by placing the national flag behind him. "He showed the path of the bullet instead of the ballot. He guided the youth to detonate the petrol bomb instead of asking them to tread the democratic path," he maintained.

He said that the people had fought for him, but he did not offered himself for arrest.
