Govt again hints at increasing prices of POL products

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The government has again hinted at increasing the prices of the POL products.

Talking to the media on Friday, PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the petrol and diesel are on a subsidy of Rs9 and 28, respectively.

"This is not a subsidy. But the loan is increasing. With the passage of time, either these prices will have to be adjusted or increased," he declared.

The former premier said that the government will try to give the maximum relief in the budget.

He said that the government will have to increase the prices of petrol and diesel if their prices were not reduced at the international level.
