Govt, opposition are two wheels of same vehicle: Ishaq Dar

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Senator Ishaq Dar has said that the government and the opposition are two wheels of the same vehicle.

Expressing his views in the Senate on Friday, he said that Charter of Democracy was an historic achievement.

"All parties are signatories to the Charter of Democracy. The country cannot run without the government and the opposition. This House has played a key role in the country's parliamentary history," he added.

The House also passed a resolution to declare former prime minister Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto a national democratic hero. The resolution was presented by Rkhsana Zubairi.
