Govt's job is to formulate policy, not to run institutions' business: Muhammad Aurangzeb

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has said that the government's job is to formulate the policy, not to run the institution's business.

Talking to the media on Saturday, he said that the private sector will have to come forward to run the institutions.

He said that he had only agenda – imposition and application. To a question about inflation, he said that everything could be done if the institutions are strong.

The minister said that privatization of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will be given the final phase first of all.

To a question about getting the Pakistani citizenship by him, he said: "Now I am here and will live in this country forever."
