Govt has decided to tighten the noose around shopkeepers and retailers: Muhammad Aurangzeb

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb said that the government has included the proposals presented by the allied parties in the budget.

Summing up the discussion on the budget in the National Assembly, he said that the government will give a waiver on health, agriculture and education. “However, tax exemption on stationary will continue,” he added.

The minister said that the government had decided to tighten the noose around shopkeepers and retailers. “The process of privatization will be forwarded. Privileges being given to the elite and those exploiting the national resources will be withdrawn. We will try to make the next IMF programme the last one,” he resolved.
