Gujrat corruption case: Ch Pervaiz Elahi remanded in NAB custody until Aug 29

LAHORE (92 News) - An accountability court remanded PTI president Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi in the custody of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in the Gujrat development projects corruption case until August 29.

The court ordered to produce the accused on August 29.

Amjad Pervaiz, counsel for Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi, appealed to court to provide the facility of a personal physician to his client.

Talking to the media after court hearing, Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi said that he was unwell and unable to stand. "My entire body system is disturb. The court should order my medical examination by his personal physician," he added.

He announced to move the Supreme Court against the delay in the general elections.
