IHC directs district admin to allow PTI to hold a public meeting in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Aamer Farooq on Wednesday directed the district administration to allow the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to hold a public meeting in Islamabad.

During the hearing, the chief justice remarked that no one can be denied the right to hold a public meeting. He asked the district administration to decide the rules and regulations.

The court asked the PTI to ensure no vandalism in the public meeting.

PTI counsel Sher Afzal Marwat said that they want to hold the public meeting in Islamabad on April 6. The counsel for the district administration said that the public meeting cannot be allowed for security reasons.
