ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday granted two-week interim bail to PTI chairman Imran Khan in all cases, including the Al-Qadir Trust case.

A two-member bench announced the verdict on Imran Khan's plea for pre-arrest bail after a break for the Friday prayers.

Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb remarked that the court will hear the case on the next date of hearing and decide on approval or dismissal of the plea. Moreover, the court granted protective bail to Imran Khan in all cases.

Before the break, the bench expressed its annoyance over chanting of slogans by a lawyer in the courtroom. Security officers expelled the lawyer from the courtroom.

Justice Mian Gul Hassan remarked that this behaviour is unacceptable. "The hearing will not be conducted if the same behaviour was adopted," he added.

At this, the PTI lawyer expressed its dissociation with the lawyer who chanted the slogan. Stringent security arrangements had been made outside the Islamabad High Court. A heavy contingent of police and FC had been deployed outside the courtroom.
