IHC orders to remove Zartaj Gul’s name from ECL

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on ordered to remove the name of PTI leader Zartaj Gul from the exit control list.

The court also ordered the assistant attorney general to present the report. During the hearing, Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri remarked that the government does not put the name of terrorists on the ECL, but the names of the politicians facing bailable offence are put on the ECL.

On the other hand, the IHC also declared the arrest of former federal minister Shirin Mazari illegal.
