IHC stops police from arresting Sanam Javed until Thursday

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Justice Miangul Hassan of the Islamabad High Court on Monday stopped the police from arresting PTI leader Sanam Javed until Thursday.

The order was passed on the application of Sanam Javed’s father. The court sought the record of all cases against her, stopping her from leaving Islamabad.

Justice Miangul Hassan asked Sanam Javed to go home and remain silent.

On the other hand, the Balochistan police produced her in a local court to get her transit remand. The court ordered the police to produce her in the IHC as per orders.

The court ruled that it could not give a verdict until the verdict of the IHC.
