Indian fighter jet Tejas crashes in Rajasthan, pilot ejected safely

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - A fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed during training in the western state of Rajasthan on Tuesday.
The pilot ejected safely, the air force said in a statement. The jet was inducted into the force in 2016.
The Tejas has been beset by design and other challenges, and was once rejected by the Indian Navy.
