Islamabad police record victim's statement in maid torture case

LAHORE (92 News) - The Islamabad police on Friday recorded the statement of Rizwana, the maid who was brutally tortured by the wife of a civil judge.

Narrating her ordeals in the house of the judge, the victim said that the judge's used to beat her with, kicks, clubs and iron rods.

"The judge's wife used to strike my head against the wall. I was detained and kept hungry in a room for several days. I was not allowed to meet my family. The judge's wife remained with me when I used to talk to my family on phone," she narrated.

She said that she did not inform her family about the wounds that were not treated by the judge's family. The LHC has made the judge an OSD.
