Islampura: Police detain three suspects in connection with girl's murder

LAHORE (92 News) - Islampura police on Wednesday took three suspects into custody in connection with the murder of a girl. Police said the suspects will be quizzed about 18-year-old Aiza Hussain who was shot and killed in a taxi on August 10. Aiza, who was a student of grade-11, was called by her friends on August 10 and was later murdered. The victim also ran a make-shift beauty-parlour. On the day of the incident, she left for buying her Eid al-Adha clothes by a private taxi and didn't come back. Aiza's family later alleged that the investigation police were not cooperating in tracing the killer(s). Police had begun investigation with the arrested youth, who are said to be friends of Aiza, to ascertain exact motive for murder.
