Jamaat-e-Islami announces protest against hefty power bills on Sept 1

LAHORE (92 News) - The Jamaat-e-Islami has announced that it would stage countrywide protest against the hefty power bills on September 1.
Addressing a ceremony here on Saturday, he said that India had set its foot on the moon, while Pakistani rulers placed their foot on the neck of the poor masses.
He urged the people not to tolerate the cruelty with silence and come out for their right. "The Jamaate-e-Islami will break the stick of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) if it succeeded in forming the government," he added.
