K-Electric decides to levy Rs1.52 surcharge on power bills in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) - K-Electric has decided to levy a surcharge of Rs1.52 on the electricity bills in Karachi.

According to sources, the imposition of surcharge burden the Karachi consumers with Rs24.50. The surcharge will be applicable for one year.

The surcharge is being levied under the head of the quarterly adjustment.

The federal government has submitted an application to the NEPRA which will hear it on July 15.
