Karachi man held for impersonating police officer

KARACHI (92 News) - Karachi police on Wednesday arrested a man for impersonating a police officer.

According to police, the accused identified as Atif alias Vicky Babu was arrested when he was making a TikTok video in a police uniform.

A case was registered against him at the Al-Falah police station.

It is worth mentioning here that two policemen, including a lady constable, were suspended in the South Zone for making TikTok videos while on duty on September 4.

DIG South Syed Asad Raza took notice of the TikTok video made by Lady Constable Maria Gil, stationed at the Gizri police station, and suspended her.

Similarly, SSP City Arif Aziz took notice of the TikTok video made by Constable Zeeshan displaying firearms and issued his suspension orders.
