Karachi University Vice-Chancellor dies of cardiac arrest
KARACHI (92 News) – University of Karachi Vice-Chancellor Dr Muhammad Ajmal Khan died of cardiac arrest on Saturday morning.
He complained pain in his chest and was admitted to a private hospital after his condition deteriorates last night where he breathed his last.
Dr Muhammad Ajmal Khan was appointed as the vice-chancellor of Karachi University in 2017. He was the 17th person to serve this position.
He studied BSc (Hons) in Botany and received a degree of MSc in Plant Physiology. He was also awarded Sitara-e-Imtiaz in recognition of his contribution in field of science.
His funeral will be held after Asr prayers at University of Karachi today.
