Kh Saad, Salman Rafique remanded in NAB custody for 10 days

LAHORE (92 News) – Accountability Court Judge Najamul Hassan remanded PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother Salman Rafique in the custody of the National Accountability Court (NAB) for 10 days. Earlier, they were produced in court amid tight security. Khawaja brothers’ counsel Amjad Pervez said that their clients have disclosed their property. “Paragon City was established 15 years ago. No document has surfaced till now that the Khawaja brothers own Paragon City. They have no relation to Paragon City,” he argued. He said that his clients had replied to NAB notice questioning 40 kanals of land. “The total land is declared and his clients cannot be handed over to the NAB on physical remand,” he said. PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother Salman Rafique were arrested by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for their alleged involvement in the Paragon Housing Society scam case on Tuesday.
