Legal experts, analysts welcome govt’s decision to give Rs5 million grant to families of missing persons

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Legal experts and analysts have welcomed the government’s decision to give financial assistance of Rs5 million to the families of the persons missing for the last five years.

Talking to 92 News, legal expert Hafiz Ihsan said that the government had made a good decision to help the families of the missing persons. “Missing persons are involved activities against Pakistan. Several terrorists were identified as missing persons,” he added.

National Security Affairs expert Syed Muhammad Ali said that the issue of missing persons was an international issue. “There are lacs of cases of missing persons in the United States, Britain and India. Some anti-state elements used the issue to defame Pakistan,” he opined.

He said the state proved that it wanted to help the families of missing persons setting aside the differences.
