LHC directs two holidays in educational institutions due to smog

LAHORE (92 News) - Justice Shahid Karim of the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday ordered two holidays in educational institutions due to prevailing smog situation in different cities of the province.

The court also directed the Punjab government employees to do work from home for two days.

The court also issued show-cause notices to the deputy commissioners of Jhang, Faisalabad and Sheikhupura.

On the other hand, a sharp increase in smog has been witnessed in Lahore which is being ranked the second most polluted city.
