Mainly dry weather expected in most plain areas of country

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Mainly very hot and dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country during next 12 hours.

However, gusty winds are likely in central and southern Punjab and lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with rain-wind and thunderstorm in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir, Islamabad, Pothohar region and northeast Punjab in the afternoon.

Temperature recorded this morning:

Islamabad 24°C, Lahore 30°C, Karachi 29°C, Peshawar 27°C, Quetta 18°C, Gilgit and Murree 17°C and Muzaffarabad 22°C.

According to the Met Office, forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, hot weather during the day with chances of rain-thunderstorm during evening and night is likely Srinagar, Pulwama, Anantnag and Baramula, very hot during the day with chances of rain-thunderstorm during evening and night in Jammu, partly cloudy with chances of rain-thunderstorm is expected in Leh.
