Maleeha hopes UNSC to redress grievances of oppressed Kashmiris
UNITED NATIONS – Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Maleeha Lodhi Thursday hoped the United Nations Security Council in its Friday's meeting would redress the grievances of innocent and oppressed Kashmiris of occupied region.
She said Pakistan is quite optimistic about the SC’s upcoming role in tackling the worsening situation in the occupied valley.
Lodhi further hoped that the member states would run debate on Kashmir in the light of the UN resolutions and international laws.
She was of the view that the SC is required to take notice of illegal and unconstitutional tactics Indian government is playing to suppress Kashmiris in the valley.
