Maulana Fazalur Rehman, Asad Qaisar discuss political situation

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - A delegation of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf called on JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman at his residence on Thursday.

National Assembly former speaker Asad Qaiser, Ali Muhammad Khan, Barrister Saif and Junaid Akbar included in the delegation. The delegation also expressed condolences over the death of sister-in-law of Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

According to sources, leaders of both parties discussed the proposal to form a new political alliance on the pattern of the Pakistan Democratic Movement. Both sides agreed to create equal opportunities for all political parties for political struggle.

Talking to the media after the meeting, Asad Qaisar said that it was not a political meeting and they had not discussed politics.
