May 12 tragedy: Karachi mayor, others indicted, accused plead not guilty
KARACHI (92 News) – An anti-terrorism court indicted Karachi Mayor Wasim Akhtar and others in the May 12 tragedy case.
The accused pleaded not guilty. The court summoned witnesses on the next date of hearing.
The court has already declared nine accused absconders.
As many as 50 people were killed on the arrival of former chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry in Karachi on May 12, 2007.
