LAHORE (92 News) - Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has expressed the fear of Indian involvement in the murder of Amir Tanba.

Addressing a press conference on Monday, he said that India has confessed to killing people directly in Pakistan. "Investigations into the murder of eight people are underway," he added.

The minister said that the masterminds of the recent terrorism in Pakistan are present in Afghanistan. "Talks are going on with the Afghan authorities," he added. He said that the Bahawalnagar incident was being exaggerated. "Such incidents are not downing our morale," he declared.

Mohsin Naqvi disclosed that overbilling of 830 million units had been detected in the WAPDA. "The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has detected the overbilling. Consumers have to pay Rs40,000 for the actual bill of Rs20,000. The power companies are involved in overbilling," he added.

He said that they had started action in the interest of the people and no pressure will be borne in this regard.
