MQM Pakistan announces to challenge verdict of Baldia Factory tragedy

KARACHI (92 News) - The Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan on Tuesday announced to challenge the verdict of the Baldia Factory tragedy.

Talking to the media, MQM leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that a judicial commission should be formed to probe into the matter.

He said that Zubair Chiriya and Rehman Bhola were innocent and they would move each forum to get their colleagues acquitted.

Mustafa Kamal held the factory owners responsible for the tragedy, saying that two laboratories had confirmed that no chemical was used in the incident.

He said the deceased's counsel had stated that there were no precautionary measures in the factory. "We will continue our struggle to get justice for 260 families," he added.
