Nawaz Sharif's disqualification has ended after expiry of five-year term: Khawaja Asif

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PML-N leader Khawaja Asif has said that the disqualification of party Quaid Nawaz Sharif has ended after the expiry of the five-year term.

In a tweet on Saturday, he said that Nawaz Sharif would return very soon and all excesses would be compensated. "Nawaz Sharif can take part in the elections."

Meanwhile, PML-N Senator Ishaq Dar said that the Panama case was fraud. "The amendment to the Election Act has determined the tenure of disqualification," he added.

Ishaq Dar said that the economy would not be rectified in a day. "The caretaker government has been given some powers. Continuity has to be maintained whatever government comes," he added.
