NEPRA further increases power tariff by Rs2.83 per unit

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Wednesday further increased the power tariff by Rs2.83 per unit.

The increase has been made under the head of the monthly fuel adjustment charges. The increase will be applicable to the bills of the current month.

However, the increase will not be applicable to the consumers of lifeline and K-Electric. Owing to the recent increase, an extra burden of Rs26 billion will be shifted to the consumers.
