NEPRA increases power tariff by Rs3.99 per unit

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Monday increased the power tariff by Rs3.99 per unit under the head of the monthly fuel charges adjustment (FCA).

According to a notification issued by the NEPRA, the PPA had requested an increase of Rs4.05 per unit.

The FCA will be applicable for the month of June. It will be applied to all life line consumers of DISCOs. However, it will not be applicable to the consumers of K-Electric.

On May 31, the NEPRA had held public hearing on the FCA. The NEPRA had charged the fuel charges adjustment of Rs2.86 of March, which was only for one month.
