NEPRA reduces power tariff by Rs4.87 for K-Electric consumers

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has reduced the power tariff by Rs4.87 for the K-Electric consumers.
The decision has been made under the head of the fuel adjustment charges for August. The decrease will provide a relief of Rs21 billion to the K-Electric consumers.
During the hearing, the NEPRA said that the production cost of K-Electric is Rs38 per unit and the price of purchased electricity is Rs14.
The NEPRA chief ordered K-Electric to reduce the production cost.
