No possibility of talks with Pakistan before elections in India: Ajay Bisaria
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan Ajay Bisaria said on Tuesday that talks with Pakistan would not be held before elections in India.
During the informal talks with journalists in Islamabad, Ajay Bisaria has said that the tension between the two neighbouring countries has subsided, but threat of a terror attack still looms on both the sides.
He remarked that a ‘threat’ of impending war between India and Pakistan was no more in place as contacts between the two countries at political, diplomatic and military level had restored.
Ajay Bisaria said implementation on the national action plan (NAP) by Pakistan was a positive indicator. He also said talks with Pakistan could be held after elections in India.
