No proof of corruption, misuse of power against Shehbaz and Hamza: court

LAHORE (92 News) - There is no proof corruption and misuse of power against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz.

It was remarked in the written verdict in the bail confirmation plea of both leaders on Monday.

The court ruled that there is need for further investigations in the trial of these allegations. "The investigation officer has not written at any place that there is need for arrest of Shehbaz and others for investigations."

The court observed that the crime of Masroor Anwar and other co-accused still has to be proved with evidence.
