No services chief said there was a conspiracy in NSC meeting: DG ISPR
RAWALPINDI (92 News) - DG ISPR Maj Gen Babar Iftikhar has again clarified that no services chief said there was a conspiracy in the meeting of National Security Committee.
Talking to the media on Wednesday, he said that he had not uttered a political statement yesterday and talked as the spokesperson of the armed forces.
"It was a national security issue. The agenda of a high-level meeting is decided. In the meeting, there was no opinion in the meeting, but the stance based on the investigations of secret agencies," he maintained.
Maj Gen Babar Iftikhar said that the government decides about the judicial commission or any other forum. "The former government had also this option. We will fully cooperate if the present government decides about forming the judicial commission," he declared.
