PA Speaker Malik Ahmed Khan rejects Muhammad Zubair’s claim

LAHORE (92 News) - Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Ahmed Khan on Monday rejected the claim of PML-N estranged leader Muhammad Zubair, saying that party president Nawaz Sharif had neither met nor talked to General (retd) Bajwa.

Talking to the media, he said that Muhammad Zubair should make the details of the meeting public. “We could not expect such words from him and it could have legal consequences,” he added.

Malik Ahmed Khan said that the Azm-e-Pakistan Operation is a matter of national solidarity and survival. “The government enjoys complete support of the PPP,” he claimed.

He said that assemblies should be a platform for resolving the issues, not for point scoring.
